Add hourly rate to estimate pay
Estimated pay is for informational purposes only and does not include taxes, deductions, or jurisdiction-specific payroll rules.
Your biweekly time-card entries are saved only in this browser and are not sent to our servers by this calculator. No account required.
Only need to calculate a single week? Use our Time Card Calculator.
How to Use the Biweekly Time Card Calculator
- Enter your clock-in and clock-out time for each day in Week 1, then Week 2.
- Add any unpaid break in minutes — it is subtracted from that day's hours.
- Add a second work period in either week if you worked a split shift.
- Enter your hourly rate if you want an estimated pay figure.
- Check each weekly subtotal and the combined Biweekly Total, then copy or print.
How a Biweekly Time Card Works
For this calculator, a biweekly time card is divided into two separate 7-day calculation weeks. Each week keeps its own daily entries and its own subtotal, and the two subtotals are added together for the biweekly result.
How Overtime Is Calculated Across Two Weeks
The calculator evaluates the configured overtime threshold separately for Week 1 and Week 2 and then combines the results. For example, with a threshold of 40 hours per week:
- Week 1 = 45 hours, so 40 regular and 5 overtime
- Week 2 = 35 hours, so 35 regular and 0 overtime
- Biweekly: 75 regular, 5 overtime, 80 total hours
Make sure Week 1 and Week 2 match the workweek grouping you intend to use. Employment rules and workweek definitions vary, and this tool does not determine legal overtime entitlement.
Weekly vs Biweekly Time Cards
A weekly time card covers one 7-day workweek. A biweekly time card covers two 7-day calculation weeks shown together. Need to calculate only one week? Use our Time Card Calculator.
Decimal Hours
Hours and minutes are shown in both clock format and decimal hours. Decimal hours are total minutes divided by 60, so 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.50. Need to convert a separate time total? Use our Decimal Hours Calculator.
